👉 Once you convinced you’re a failure and nothing can change that the self-destruction begins –
as it happened to Jinx – one of the most memorable characters of Arcane show by Netflix.
Watch it, if you haven’t – this is a rare masterpiece.
➡️ We have many things in common with Jinx – the heroine of the show. Despite her being a murderous psychopath in the beginning – I – and many other people – see ourselves in Jinx.
I had mental disorder – she had also. I never had hallucinations, but the way she was experiencing psychosis is very true – and recognizable for people struggled or struggling with mental health.
She experienced trauma and rejection, I experienced the same.
She died for her family, so did I – only this decision made very recently freed me from my abusive experience.
She was convinced she’s a jinx and a failure, and so did I. She tried to explode herself 4 times at least – after one another loop of misfortunes.
The show depicted it very accurately – once you decided to do this irreversible thing, it’s hard to change your mind. Once decision made – you will repeatedly try to finish the process.
❌ 💣 We don’t explode ourselves with bombs, but we find more “appropriate” way of self-destruction – with disorders, or substance abuse, or overworking, or being in harmful situations. If we knew how to avoid that – we’d definitely chose another path. But at the time when decision was made – consciously or unconsciously – we didn’t know anything about other choices or options.
🔹Jinx is saved by her ex-enemy and love interest – with the note from him that what happened in past doesn’t define what will happen in future – and that one has a chance to live a completely different – and new life.
🌈 We all have a chance to live a completely different life – you and me, and everyone who found themselves in difficult circumstances.
